About Us
Travis Hanna
Travis Hanna is the founding engineer and producer at Electric Platypus. He has been immersed in music since having Suzuki violin forced upon him at age 5 (for which is very grateful today), later playing in bands and honing his craft as both a musician and producer. What began as a practical effort to save money and maximize studio time soon evolved into a deep passion for recording and producing. Over time, he discovered that his love for the creative process behind the music was equal or even greater than his passion for performing.
As his skills developed, he began receiving unsolicited requests from other bands to produce demos and albums, propelling him further into the world of recording and production. Driven by a desire to continually improve, he immersed himself in studying the craft, ultimately earning a both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Berklee College of Music majoring in Music Production.
Alex Winters
When she’s not producing music at her own studio, Black Roses Productions, Alex can frequently be found working as a producer at Electric Platypus or on location for one of our video shoots.
She’s done a bunch of cool shit and doesn’t need Travis to write a bio for her or select an image to use accompanying it. This just happens to be a good one from Cedar Creek.
